On December 17th, the 2020 "Shanghai Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Excellence Project Award" commendation ceremony was grandly held at the Shanghai CPPCC Auditorium.

The award-winning Corrugated Steel Plate Composite Frame System (also known as the "JieYue" system) is a new construction model for multi-story frame buildings developed by OPEN. It features factory-prefabricated steel structures and on-site cast concrete, with innovative component forms and convenient node installation. The construction process requires no formwork or scaffolding, making it a novel type of prefabricated frame structure. Through practical application in demonstration projects, it has demonstrated excellent safety, applicability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of construction. This system can be widely used in industrial and civil buildings, especially suitable for large-span, heavy-load storage buildings.
