Shanghai OPEN Steel Structure Co., Ltd. officially launched its On-Site Manager Empowerment Project on July 22th. The participants of this training program include 18 on-site managers and key personnel from different departments of the OPEN Steel Structure Factory, with 7 trainees from the Nantong Factory attending the sessions online.

Chen, the director of the Jinshan Factory, set expectations for the trainees at the meeting, emphasizing full participation and proactive completion of each course. He encouraged the trainees to actively apply the learned methods and tools to actual production work to bring about improvements and changes for OPEN.

Key Training Components included Lean Concepts, Waste Identification, Standardized Work, 5S Visual Management, Quick Changeover, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Training Within Industry (TWI) Job Instruction Methods and more. The training program consists of 12 courses and will span a year, combining theoretical training with on-site guidance, with a focus on practical application and results.

This marks a historic step for OPEN on the path of lean management. The journey of lean transformation is often fraught with challenges, but it is hoped that OPEN's future will be brightened by the contributions of these dedicated individuals.
