An expert review for the "JieYue" Prefabricated Frame System was held in Shanghai.

Purpose of the Expert Review:
The project intends to use the "JieYue" Prefabricated Frame System, a system proposed by OPEN Steel. This system features steel-concrete composite columns composed of corner steel tubes and corrugated side panels, with the main beams using "CS-Frame System" beams with built-in post-tensioned steel reinforcement. Its key advantages include eliminating the need for high floor formwork and beam-column templates, combining the benefits of both steel and concrete structures. The project also includes the installation of buckling-restrained braces between external columns.

Due to the lack of fully corresponding national standards for this system, this expert review was initiated.
